The second annual Earth Day scavenger hunt, Earth ROCs is back! Taking place on April 22, 2022 this event is hosted by dippygirl art and earthfriendl.e as a way for community members of all ages to get outside and embrace mother nature, interact with local creatives and businesses, and explore the beauty of Rochester!

The concept for Earth ROCs is centered around the question, “why do you love the Earth?” The answer to this could be as broad as “the Earth gives me life” or as local as “I love Highland Park”! We want members of the community to reflect upon the infinite reasons that the Earth is truly incredible. 

Anyone can participate in the scavenger hunt! However, we are selling a list of hints, along with stickers + t shirts. Net proceeds will be donated to 490 Farmers, a local grassroots organization guided by principles of mutual aid seeking to build community, provide land access, and address food insecurity through urban agriculture. 

This year, you can also pick up a physical list of hints the morning of the event at 490 Farm, located on the SE corner of Broadway & Meigs St from 11 A.M. - 12 P.M. Stop by for coffee + donuts, check out the farm, and pick up your list!

Feel free to join us again later in the day on the 22nd at Heroes Brewing Company, located at 543 Atlantic Ave from 4:30 P.M.-8:30 P.M to celebrate an absolutely wonderful Earth Day! There will be a brand new limited edition 490 Farmers Earth Day brew available, as well as a 490 Happy Hour!
